BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and Eastern Shan, Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States.
