BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “Asani” over West Central Bay of Bangal has moved North-Northeastwards and centered at about (50) Nautical miles Southwest of Kakinada, (120) Nautical miles Southwest of Vishakhapatnam, (720) Nautical miles West of Hainggyigyun and (740) Nautical miles West of Gwa (Myanmar).Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE12thMay, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kayin State, fairly widespread inTaninthayi Region and Kayah, Mon States and widespreadin the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon,Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Occasionally squall with rough seas will bein Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph.
