SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in KachinState and isolated in Upper Sagaing, MandalayRegions and Southern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C)above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Mon States and (2°C) above April average temperatures inNaypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States and about April average temperature inTaninthayi Region. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Myingyan, Chauk andGangaw and (43°C) each in Mingin, Monywa, Kyemone,Myinmu, NyaungOo, Tada U(Avia), Magway and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.55) inch in Meiktilaand (0.04) inch each in Machanbaw and Hkamti.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
