SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Southern Shan, Mon States and isolated in Mandalay, Yangon,Taninthayi Regions and Kayah State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region,(3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Chin, Kayah States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southen and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about April average temperature in Kachin State. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Chauk and Gangaw and (43°C) each in Kalewa, Monywa, Kyemone, Myinmu, Myingyan andHpasaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.43) inch in Chaungsone, (0.16) inch in Nyaung Shwe, (0.08) inch in Paung and (0.04) inch in Thaton.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th April, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Southern Shan, Kayah States and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
