SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread inBago Region, fairly widespread in Mon State, scattered in Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperature were (2°C) below April average temperatures in BagoRegion and Chin State, (4°C) below April average temperature in Kayah State, (5°C) to (6°C) below April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, MandalayRegions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and (8°C) below April average temperatures inMagway Region and Northern Shan State and about April average temperatureinthe remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (39°C) each in Nyaunglaybin, Hinthada and Myaungmya and (38°C) each in Bago, Gyobingauk, Hmawbi, Okkan, Ngathaichaung, Zalun, Bawlakhae,Hpasaung, Hpa-an, Myawaddy and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.58) inches in Pyay, (1.22) inches in Paletwa, (0.82) inch in Taunggu, (0.63) inch in Paung, (0.59) inch each in Seiktha and Hpa-an, (0.51) inch in Paingkyone and (0.43) inch in Ann.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is partly cloudy over theAndaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloudelsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rdApril, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Mon States.
