SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago Region and Rakhine State and rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and KayinStates, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Chin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperature were (2°C) above April average temperature in Mon State, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Mandalay,MagwayRegions and Kachin, Chin States, (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayah States, (5°C) below April average temperature in EasternShan State and about April average temperaturein the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) each in Chauk, Taunggu, Bawlakhae and Theinzayet and (40°C) each inVaar, Yamethin, Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Bago, Shwekyin, Tharrawady, Nyaunglaybin and Ngathaichaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.12)inches in Mawlamyine, (1.57)inchesinPaung, (1.50)inches in Tiddim, (1.34)inches in Bhamo, (1.06)inches each in Thabeikkyin and Kawthaung, (0.98)inch in Kyeikmayaw, (0.91)inch each inKhayan and Chaungsone, (0.87)inch each in Kalay and Belin, (0.83)inch in Tamu, (0.79)inch in Tongzan and (0.75)inch in Kunlong.

BAY INFERENCE:Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21stApril, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Mon States, scattered in Kayah and KayinStates and isolated inthe remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
