SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in KayahState and isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April average temperatures in Kachin, Chin States and (2°C) below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and about April average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Hpasaung and (40°C) each in Vaar, Chauk, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Pyay and Taunggu. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.74) inch in Kawthaung and (0.24) inch in Bawlakhae.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14thApril, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Regionand isolated in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
