SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Kayah State, scattered inKachin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (2°C) above April average temperature in Mon State, (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Kachin and Eastern Shan States and about April average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Magway and Gangaw and (41°C) each inVarr, Chauk and Minbu. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.02) inches in Kengtung, (0.59) inch in Minesat, (0.55) inch each in Hpasaung and Chaungsone, (0.51) inch in Mawlamyine, (0.43) inch in Mongyang, (0.35) inch in Machanbaw and (0.23) inch in Putao.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th April, 2022:Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Rakhine State. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
