SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Southern Shan and Chin States, isolated in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) below March average temperature in Mandalay Region and (3°C) to (4°C)below March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions and (2°C) below March average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) ShanStates and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each inBawlakhae and (40°C) each in Nyaunglaybin and Hpasaung.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.16) inch each inHakha and Falam, (0.08) inch each in Tiddim and Kalewa and (0.04) inch inTongzan.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloudsto partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi regions and Shan, Chin States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
