SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) below March average temperature in Kachin State, (2°C) below March average temperature in Magway Region and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Gangaw, Bawlakhae and Hpasaung and (39°C) in Mingin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.71) inch in Machanbaw, (0.31) inch in Putao and (0.16) inch each in Monyin and Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing,Taninthayi Regions and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin States.
