SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region and Chin State, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Magway Region.Day temperatures were (2°C) below March average temperatures in Kachin, Rakhine and Kayin States, (3°C) to (4°C) below March average temperatures in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State, (5°C) to (6°C) below March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States, (7°C) to (8°C) below March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Southern Shan State, (11°C) below March average temperature in Mandalay and about March average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (36°C) in Vaar and Kawkareik and (35°C) in Paletwa, Mingin and Kyauktaw. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.38) inches in Singaing,(3.90)inchesin Shwesayan, (3.28) inches in Kyaukpadaung, (2.95) inches in Myitnge, (2.91) inches in Tada U(Aviation-Met), (2.73) inches in Kyaukse, (2.60) inches in Taungtha, (2.52) inches in Moemate (Myitsone), (2.48) inches in Thazi, (2.45) inches in Mahlaing, (2.16) inches in Amarapura, (2.05) inches each in Pyinoolwin and Chaungsone, (1.97) inches each inMoemate and Myingyan, (1.93) inches each inHlaingtat, Kyaukse(Lunkyaw) and Pauk and (1.89) inches in Myittha.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Shan States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts .
