BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area has moved Magway Region near Mindon and it is weaken into a low pressure area. It is continuous to move North-Northeastwards.Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, (Southern and Eastern) Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate to rough sea elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts and (7-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts .
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widspread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
