BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression has crossed Southern Rakhine Coast near Gwa has weaken into a well marked low pressure area. Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and East Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 23rd March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regionsand Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Magway Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate to rough sea elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (7-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widspread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
