BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, the deep depression over North Andaman Sea and adjoining East central Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards and is crossing to Ayeyarwady Region near Hainggyikyun. Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Magway, Taninthayi Regionsand Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Regions and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Magway Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Frequently squalls with rough seas will be off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (45) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widspread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
