BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the deep depression over North Andaman Sea and adjoining East central Bay of Bengal has moved North wards and it is centered at about (50) Nautical miles Northeast of Coco Island, about (75) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Hainggyikyun, about (125) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Pathein, about (170) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Gwa, about (175)Nautical miles Southwest of Yangon(Myanmar),about(200) Nautical miles North-Northeast of Port Blair and about (125) Nautical miles North-Northeast of Mayabundar(India). Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway and Bago Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Frequently squalls with rough seas will be off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (45) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
