SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Kachin, Kayah States and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, (3°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Bawlakhae and (39°C) each in Chauk, Taunggu, Shwegyin, Nyaunglaybin and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.12) inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal has become unimportance. Weather is partly cloud to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and a few cloudy to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
