BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean moved northnorthwestwards . It is centered at about (760) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco-Island, (875) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (190) Nautical miles South- Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka), (350) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Nagapattinam, (410)Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry and (455)Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Bay of Bengal and a few clouds over the Andaman Sea.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 04thMarch, 2022: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (60%).
