SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, scattered in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Mon States andisolated in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayin State. Weatherhas been generally fair in Sagaing Region and ChinState and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were(3°C) below February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (2°C) below February average temperatures in MagwayRegion and Chin State and (2°C) above February average temperature in Yangon Region, (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in AyeyarwadyRegion and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, (5°C) to (6°C)above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Southern Shan State and about February average temperaturein the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C)in Hakha,(5°C) in Tiddim, (6°C) each in Putao, Machanbaw, Kyaukmae and Pyinoolwin and (7°C) each in Tongzan and Mogoke.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.67) inch in Coco Island, (0.39) inch in Payathonesu, (0.12) inch each in Khayan and Launglon and (0.08) inch each in Pyinmana(Walgyi)and Theinzayet.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
