SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States and (2°C) below February averagetemperatures in Mandalay Region and (South and East) Shan, Rakhine States and about February average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (2°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (3°C) each in Kyaukmae, Pinlaung and Mongyang and (4°C) each in Lashio, Loilin, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5thFebruary, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered inUpper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Taninthayi Region and Chin, Kayin, Mon States.
