SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Kayah, Kayin States, scattered in Bago Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were(2°C) below January average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) above January average temperaturesin Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin, EasternShanStates and (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw,Mandalay, Bago Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayin, MonStates and about January average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (5°C) each in Namsam, Tiddim and Mingin.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.79) inch in Belin, (0.63) inch in Nyaunglaybin, (0.55) inch each in Mawlamyine and Kawthaung and (0.51) inch each in Myitkyina and Coco Island.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud over the Bay of Bengal.
