SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours weather has been generally fair weather in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperatures in Taninthayi Region andEastern Shan State, (2°C) above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Mon States, (3°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and about January average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Namsam and Mongyang and (5°C) each in Pinlaung and Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and Northwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th January, 2022:Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Magway,TaninthayiRegions and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
