BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong in the Andaman Sea, South and East Central Bay of Bengal and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd May, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing and Magway Regions and Chin State, scattered in Mandalay Region, Kachin, Shan and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Bago Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h.
