SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T:During the past (24)hours, weather has beenpartly cloudyinUpper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah States and generally fairin the remaining Regions and States.Night temperatures were(2°C) aboveJanuary average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regionsand(3°C) above January average temperaturein Mon State and about Januaryaverage temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatureswere (-1°C)in Hakha,(3°C) in Heho, (4°C) in Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Putao, Kyaukmae, Pinlaung, Tongzan andMogoke.

BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloudy to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04thJanuary, 2022:Light rain arelikely to be isolated in Kachinand (Northern and Eastern)ShanStates. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will bepartly cloudyin the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperature in ShanState.
