SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Chin, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Rakhine States and (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Norhthern and Southern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Heho and (6°C) each in Tiddim and Tongzan, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloudto partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01stJanuary, 2022:Light rain are likely to be isolated in TaninthayiRegion and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
