SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State, (5°C) above December average temperature in Magway Region and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Tiddim and Tongzan, (9°C) each in Putao, Namsam, Pinlaung, Heho and Falam. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.08) inch in Mogoke and (0.04) inch in Muse.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th December, 2021: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 -7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah States.
