SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan State, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Magway Region and Mon State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Heho and Loilin and (7°C) in Namsam. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (1.57) inches in Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Central Andaman Sea now lies over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea still persists. It is forecast continuously move to West- Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression over Southeast Bay and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal during next (12)hours and into a cyclonic storm over Central Bay of Bengal around (3.12.2021). Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd December, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago Region and Kachin, Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.
