BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Thailand and adjoining South Andaman Sea. It is forecast to reach South Andaman Sea during next (12) hrs and continuously move to West- Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression. Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 01st December, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State.
