SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Bago Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region, (3°C) above November average temperature in Magway Region and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Hakha, (6°C) in Putao and (8°C) each in Tongzan, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.55) inch in Kawthaung and (0.04) inch in Myeik.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01stDecember, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in TaninthayiRegion and isolated in Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin State and partly cloudyinthe remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
