SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kayin State. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayin States, (3°C) above November average temperatures in Magway Region and Northern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Hakha, (7°C) in Putao and (9°C) in Manchanbaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.28) inch in Kyaukmae and (0.12) inch in Naungcho.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th November, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions.
