BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th May, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h.
