BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off North Tamilnadu, India) has moved Northwestwards and it is crossing North Tamilnadu Coast and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh Coast near Puducherry, India. It is forecast continuous to move Northwestwards. Weather is a few cloud over the North and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th November, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Yangon Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
