BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over the Soutwest Bay and adjoining West Central Bay of Bengal (off North Tamilnadu -South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India) has moved to West-Northwestwards and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off North Tamilnadu, India). It is centered at about (715) Nautical miles West- Southwest of Coco-Island, (800) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (105) Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and (95) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry(India). Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 19th November, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
