BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal now lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal.It is forecast continuous to move Westwards and reach to Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal(off South Andhra Pradesh- North Tamilnadu coasts, India)around (18.11.2021). Weather isa few cloudover the NorthandEastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th November, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Shan State andisolated in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
