BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Central part of Andaman Sea still persists. It is likely continuous to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal around (17.11.2021).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th November, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Magway Region. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Chin states and isolated in the remaining Regions and States .Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in Deltaic,Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay,Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
