SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T:During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Bago Regions and Chin State, fairly widerspread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi  Regions and Kachin State and widespread in Shan State with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw.Night temperatures were(2°C)above November average temperatures in Upper SagaingRegion andKachin, Rakhine, Kayah, MonStates,(3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperaturesin Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions andShanState, (5°C) above November average temperature in Chin State and about November average temperaturein the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were(11°C)in Putao and (12°C) in Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were(2.40)inchesinMogoke,(2.28) inches inKyaukmae, (1.93)inches in Pyinoolwin, (1.85) inchesin Naypyitaw(Otarathiri),  (1.73) inches in Kunlong and (1.69)inches in Naungcho.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Thailand Coast now lies over Central part of Andaman Sea. It is likely continuous to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal around (17.11.2021).Weather ispartly cloudy to cloudyover the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th November, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Shan State, fairly widespread inNaypyitaw, Mandalay Region, scattered in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Mon States andisolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in Deltaic,Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespreadrain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay,Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
