SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw and Eastern Shan, Kayin States. Rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah State, scattered in Taninthayi Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin States and isolatedinthe remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were(2°C)above November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah,Kayin, MonStates,(3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperaturesin Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions andShan, ChinStates and about November average temperaturein the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were(11°C)in Putao and (12°C) in Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were(2.87)inchesinKawthaung,(1.18) inches inMawlaik, (0.59) inchin Nyaunglaybinand (0.47) inch in Theinzayet.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Thailand Coast. It is likelihood to move West-Northwestwards and it may further intensify into a depression over North Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal around(15.11.2021).Weather is a few cloudover the Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th November, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region,fairly widespread in Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Southernand Eastern) Shan, Kayah States andisolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region.Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet in Deltaic,off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespreadrain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine,Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
