SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in  Upper Sagaing,  Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and (3°C) to  (4°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and about November average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (9°C) in Hakha and (10°C) in Putao. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.97) inches in Kawthaung, (1.46) inches in Yangon(Mingaladon), (0.48) inch in Shwekyin and (0.39) inch in Madauk.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th November, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Eastern Shan State  and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet in Deltaic,off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolatedto scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
