SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy inLower SagaingRegion andKachinState. Rain or thundershowers have beenwidespread inAyewaryady Region and Mon State,fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfallrecorded were(2.56) inches inCentral Yangon, (2.40) inchesinNyaungtone,(2.25) inches in Gyobingauk, (1.93)inches in Khayan, (1.81) inches in Zalun, (1.58) inches in Tharrawady, (1.34) inches in Maubin and (1.22) inches in Naypyitaw(Dekkhinathiri).

BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (10:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka - off Tamil Nadu coast(India) now lies over Sri Lanka - off Tamil Nadu coast(India) andit is forecast continuous to move westwards.Weather isa few cloudover Northand Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31stOctober, 2021:Rainor thundershowers will bewidespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Mon State, scattered in Naypyitaw, TaninthayiRegion and Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4– 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions andShan, Kayah, Kayin, MonStates.
