BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the South Bay of Bengal still persists. It is forecast continuous to move westwards. Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 28th October, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in (Southern and Eastern )shan States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine ,Kayin ,Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4– 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
