SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.85) inches in Launglon, (1.48) inches in Saw, (1.10) inches in Gangaw, (0.79) inch in Phaung Pyin, (0.71) inch in Heho and (0.58) inch each in Kalewa, Pinlaebu, Mingin and Pauk.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the South Bay of Bengal. It is forecast continuous to move westwards. Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th October, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4– 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
