BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 19th October, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (5-7) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
