BAY INFERENCE:Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th October, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, scattered in Lower Sagaing REgion , Northern Shan and Chin, Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region , (Southern and Eastern)Shan, State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 – 10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
