BAY INFERENCE:Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 12th October, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Lower Sagaing , Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regionsand States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Magway, and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw ,Lower Sagaing , Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine , Kayin , Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 – 10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
