BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th October, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Region and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7 – 9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
