BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd September, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Regionand Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of withdrawal of Southwest monsoon from the Central Myanmar areas.
