SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Northern Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Magway Region and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.83) inches in Coco Island, (2.68) inches in Hainggyigyun, (2.28)inches in Paing Kyone, (2.21) inches in Kawkareik, (2.09) inches in Ngathaichaung, (1.97) inches in Launglon, (1.94) inchesin Ngazun, (1.92) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (1.74) inches in Saw, (1.70) inches in Phayathonesu, (1.65) inches in Pauk and (1.58) inches in Naypyitaw(Dekkhinathiri).
BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over theBay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (5– 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
