SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.12) inches in Kyaukpyu, (3.03) inches in Hainggyigyun, (2.24) inches in Myeik, (1.73) inches in Sittwe, (1.65) inches in Maubin, (1.49) inches in Zaung Tu, (1.26) inches in Hlegu, (1.18) inches in Yangon(Kaga-Aye), (1.14) inches each in Ramthlo and Bago and (1.10) inches in Labutta.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and KachinState, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (6– 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
