SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region, sacttered in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.87) inches in Mawlamyine, (4.61) inches in Chaungsone, (4.06) inches in Mudon, (4.02) inches in Paung, (2.36) inches in Shwegwun(Hlaingbwe), (2.28) inches in Hpa-an(Agro), (1.89) inches in Ye, (1.77) inches in Putao, (1.57) inches each in Kyeikmayaw and Kawthaung and (1.22) inches each in Bhamo and Manaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yango, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
