SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been sacttered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan State, fairly widespread in Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Magway Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing Region and Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (6.65) inches in Kyauktaw, (5.91) inches in Manaung, (5.08)inches in Belin, (4.02) inches in Maungdaw, (3.43) inches in Taungkok, (3.07) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.95) inches in Thayat, (2.83) inches in Paung, (2.80) inches in Kungyangon(2.76) inches in Thandwe, (2.45) inches in Okpho, (2.17) inches in Phyu, (2.01) inches in Kyeikkhame and (1.97) inches in Hkamti.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States.
