SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been sacttered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, TaninthayiRegions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Bago Region and Kayin State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.39) inches in Kyaukpyu, (4.45) inches in Shwekyin, (4.09) inches in Madauk, (3.47) inches in Kamamaung(Hpapun), (3.43) inches in Hkamti, (3.36) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (3.10) inches each in Zalun and Hpa-an, (2.87) inches in Ann, (2.75) inchesin Hinthada and(2.67) inches each in Sittwe and Tharrawady.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon ismoderateover the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rdJuly, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper SagaingRegion and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
